Inskriba (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital literary magazine and community platform for writers and readers. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use inskriba.com and its subdomains.

- Account information: name, email address, profile image (when you sign up or claim a profile).
- Submissions: essays, research, and associated metadata you submit for editorial review.
- Subscriber data: email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- Usage analytics: page views, reading metrics, and interactions collected via Vercel Analytics (cookieless, privacy-preserving).
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Operate the platform and deliver editorial services.
- Send newsletters and editorial updates (only with your consent).
- Process contributor payments.
- Improve content discovery and platform experience.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and storage, Vercel for deployment, Resend for email delivery) under contractual protections.

Account and submission data is retained while your account is active. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Cookies & Tracking
Inskriba uses Vercel Analytics which is a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics solution. We do not set tracking cookies. Authentication state is managed via Firebase Auth tokens stored in browser local storage, not cookies.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Google Cloud default encryption). Access to production systems is restricted to authorised team members.
9. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
